In addition to the popular sizes, Schubeck Lifters are available up to one inch (1") for these models as well as special applications.

Engine builders are increasingly using our larger 1" diameter flat lifters on newly designed flat lifter cams in place of roller cam and roller lifter combinations.  Higher lift and more duration can be designed into the flat lifter cam when a larger diameter lifter is used.  More aggressive rocker arm ratios are also figured into the equation to multiply the lift and duration.  Many builders claim they equal the power of their roller cams but equally important, they increase the reliability.

Prior to our lifters with new composite material, this combination using iron lifters on a cast iron or steel billet cam, would be destined to a short life, if any at all, now, only because of this low friction breakthrough material.
