Progressive Linkage

          for low speed throttle control

One outstanding feature of the Schubeck 904 Marine Engine is It's progressive throttle linkage.

Designed with docking the boat in mind, the progressive linkage permits feathering the throttle for low speed maneuvering.

Just off idle, the throttle sensitivity comes from only one (the smallest) of the three throttle butterfly plates.

The other larger throttle plates will not open until a

set RPM is reached (usually 1500 rpm),  At which time the driver can progressively open the other two larger throttle plates for maximum air flow and full power.
