Until recently, Schubeck Valve Lifters were available only as flat tappets, like the ones used by Robert Pond in his NHRA World Record holding A/S Ford Fairlane.   Pond was the first drag racer to officially set and back up a 9 second ¼ mile record in a stocker, which is currently official at 9.90 and 135.77 mph.

NOW, the company has introduced a companion product addressing classes that mandate the use of hydraulic roller lifters.  Until now, this technology has only been used in the production of the company’s hydraulic flat lifters, but is now being applied to Schubeck’s  Roller Hydraulic Lifters as well. 

Schubeck’s ‘Zero Lash’ hydraulic lifter technology was developed to prevent ‘pump-up’ and ‘leak-down, the two main pitfalls of hydraulic lifters for racing.  RPM and Power increases are instantly noticeable.
